You may have noticed I am not afraid to express my views, many of which are controversial. What you have to remember with blogs is that they belong to the person who owns it, and if you don't like what they have to say, you are free to leave. I hope it stays that way - freedom of speech - and not internet regulating.
Though I do not have a recipe prepared today, I like to update my blog anyway. My life does not revolve around creating new recipes - although cooking, baking and eating is a part of life :).
A month or two ago (?), some of my family were milking the goats and we had party ideas. Our ideas went wild . . . and we ended up having 150+ liberty-minded folks at our place on Sunday.
Well, we (my family) is kind of crazy. When we get into something, we dive right in with 2 feet. We invited tons of people to a "
Liberty Party at the Ranch" here at our place on July 1st. On Wednesday (the 27th) we slaughtered a hog for the tacos, and me and sisters made 40+ dozen cookies -
peanut butter and
oatmeal.
It was an all-day party and was much fun! Songs were sang by
Hannah Young, some were accompanied by her sister & dad. There were also a couple of group songs. Speeches were given, there were pony rides on "Liberty Lady", volleyball and dances. You can read more @ Hannah's blog -
